1. Agreement and eligibility
By accepting these terms or using Baguette, you agree to this contract and the Privacy Policy. Baguette is intended for adults aged 18 and over who can enter a binding agreement.
The service is operated from France. Mandatory consumer rights in your place of residence remain available.
2. The Baguette service
Baguette is a general wellness journal. It helps you record meals and daily signals, review nutrition estimates, observe possible patterns, try small personal experiments, and create private summaries.
Medical diagnosis, treatment, and emergency support sit outside the service. Seek a qualified professional for medical concerns and local emergency services for urgent symptoms.
Features may evolve as product quality, safety, law, and platform requirements change. Material reductions to paid functionality will be handled fairly under applicable consumer law.
3. Baguette Pro membership
Baguette Pro is offered as a monthly auto-renewing subscription through the platform store. The expected United States price is $16.99 per month. The purchase screen shows the authoritative local price, currency, taxes, renewal date, and eligibility before confirmation.
Eligible new subscribers may receive a 7 day free trial when the platform store confirms eligibility. At the end of the trial, the membership renews at the displayed monthly price unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal or within the period required by the store.
You can manage or cancel the subscription in Apple Account settings. Deleting Baguette or local data leaves the store subscription active. Restore Purchases reconnects an eligible purchase through the same store account.
Billing, cancellation, grace periods, and refunds follow the platform store terms and applicable consumer law.
4. Estimates, guidance, and personal decisions
Meal recognition, portions, calories, nutrients, and personal observations are estimates. Photos, recipes, preparation methods, missing drinks, and incomplete days can change the result.
Baguette shows editable meal details, confidence ranges, evidence counts, and uncertainty where relevant. Review each meal before confirmation and use your judgment when acting on suggestions.
Health decisions remain yours. Qualified professionals can help interpret symptoms, medical needs, pregnancy, eating concerns, allergies, medication interactions, and therapeutic diets.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide information you are entitled to submit and review estimates before confirmation.
- Protect access to your device and store account.
- Use Baguette for personal, lawful purposes.
- Respect request limits and avoid attempts to bypass purchase, trial, security, or usage controls.
- Keep dangerous, abusive, infringing, or unlawful material outside the service.
Access may be limited when reasonably necessary to address security, abuse, legal requirements, or service integrity.
6. Privacy and intellectual property
The Privacy Policy explains how Baguette handles information. You retain rights in the content you submit. You grant the limited permission needed to process that content and provide the features you request.
The Baguette name, design, software, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Personal use of the app does not transfer those rights.
7. Availability, warranties, and responsibility
Baguette is provided with reasonable care and skill. Temporary interruptions can occur for maintenance, security, network conditions, store services, or circumstances outside reasonable control.
Where law allows, liability is limited to direct, foreseeable loss caused by a breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law requires, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer remedies.
8. Governing law and disputes
French law governs these terms where consumer law permits. Consumers retain mandatory protections and access to the courts available in their country of residence.
Please contact Baguette Support first so the issue can be understood and addressed. Statutory complaint and dispute-resolution options remain available.
9. Changes and contact
Material changes will receive a new effective date and an appropriate notice. Continued use after the effective date means the revised terms apply, subject to mandatory consent requirements.
Questions can use the public support contact listed with Baguette in the App Store.
